The first talk will be on \u0022\u003Cstrong\u003ESecond Life: \u0026nbsp;A Model for Entrepreneurial Courses\u003C\/strong\u003E.\u0022 \u003Cstrong\u003ERegister online\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.cetl.gatech.edu\/civicrm\/event\/info?reset=1\u0026amp;id=37\u0022\u003Ehere\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/strong\u003E.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EAbstract\u003C\/strong\u003E\u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ESecond Life is a virtual online world where the participants or residents create and build their own fantasy life and socialize with other in-world residents.\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp; With a little time and creativity educators may design a world around their specific discipline that allows students to experience learning from an entirely new perspective.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EWesley Smith, Director of Instructional Distance Education \u0026amp; Advanced Services (IDEAS) at Georgia College, will explain and demonstrate how he uses Second Life to teach entrepreneurship to undergraduate students.
