Once the guarantee for your student expires, students that are still enrolled will pay the prevailing flat tuition rates (explained below) for that particular term. Of course, it is important for your student to work closely with an academic advisor to ensure that any classes taken “fit” with the remaining requirements for graduation. Please visit www.bursar.gatech.edu/TuitionFAQ.php for commonly asked questions regarding GTP plans and tuition rates.

If your student is not under a guaranteed tuition plan for summer semester, then he or she will be assessed the flat tuition rates. For summer 2011, in-state tuition under this schedule will be assessed at either $2,100 per semester if registered for 6 hours or fewer or $3,535 if registered for more than 6 hours. Out-of-state students will pay either $7,500 tuition per semester if registering for 6 hours or fewer or $12,640 if registering for more than 6 hours. It is important to be aware of these rates when determining your student’s class schedule and the cost associated with the various options.
