110871 news 1329755369 1475896257 <![CDATA[John Papapolymerou Tapped for Prestigious IEEE Committee]]> Ioannis "John" Papapolymerou has been appointed to a two-year term on the IEEE TAB Periodicals Review and Advisory Committee (PRAC).

This committee monitors the timeliness, appropriateness, and quality of all IEEE society- and council-sponsored periodicals, with reviews of all periodicals taking place every five years. In addition to the committee chair, the group is comprised of chairs from the TAB periodicals, magazines, newsletters, and transactions committees, as well as up to seven additional members.

Dr. Papapolymerou has been on the faculty of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech since 2001, and since 2011, he has also served as the associate director for the Georgia Electronic Design Center.
