{"114951":{"#nid":"114951","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Georgia Tech Collaborates with Intel to Offer Master\u2019s Degree Program","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EGeorgia Tech and Intel\u2018s corporate university, the Fab\/Sort\nManufacturing College of Engineering, have joined forces to bring Georgia\nTech\u2019s distance learning master\u2019s degree program in electrical and computer engineering\nto Intel employees. \u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\n\n\u003Cp\u003EGeorgia Tech\u2019s electrical and computer engineering classes\nare taught and video-recorded at Georgia Tech\u2019s state-of-the-art distance learning\nfacilities, giving the Intel students the flexibility to review lectures at\ntheir convenience and as often as they wish.\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\n\n\u003Cp\u003EThe elective curriculum for the program includes three Intel\nCollege of Engineering developed courses taught by Intel faculty, which makes\nthe curriculum tailored for the company\u2019s needs. \u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\n\n\u003Cp\u003EIntel and Georgia Tech\u2019s School of Electrical and Computer\nEngineering have a long history of collaboration in research and education.\u0026nbsp;\n\u003C\/p\u003E\n\n\n\n\u003Cp\u003E\u201cWe\u0027re excited about this new partnership with Intel, and\nthe opportunity to grow the already significant number of Georgia Tech alumni\nat Intel,\u201d said Douglas B.
