{"119121":{"#nid":"119121","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Chris Silveira (MCRP\/MS-CE class of \u002712) selected for Eno Fellowship","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EMaster\u2019s degree student, Christopher Silveira (MCRP class of\u0026nbsp; \u201912) was one of 20 students selected nationally to attend the Eno Transportation Leadership Development Conference in Washington, D.C., in June.\u0026nbsp; As an Eno Fellow, Silveira will partake in a week-long program focusing on transportation policy, interacting with key transportation leaders who work at the national level.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAttendees for the conference are not only great students; they also must have shown their commitment to public service and outreach to communities or underrepresented groups. In his letter of application, Silveira emphasized his own public service \u2013 including volunteering with the Refugee Resettlement at Catholic Charities of Atlanta \u2013 as well as his desire to remain a career-long public servant.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ESilveira will also have an opportunity to present at the conference on a transportation topic of his choice. He looks forward to the opportunities he will have to meet with national leaders in transportation and what advice they will offer for future leaders at a time when transportation policy is in flux.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ESilveira was nominated by faculty at Georgia Tech through the School of City and Regional Planning. Only one student nomination could be made per department within the Institute.
