{"133901":{"#nid":"133901","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Strategic Plan Projects Present Final Reports","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EThe committee charged with providing guidance and encouragement for the projects emerging from Georgia Tech\u2019s 25-year strategic plan marked the end of its first year with a day of presentations that articulated how members of the Tech community envision what it means to be the technological research university of the 21st century.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EDuring the April 25 event in the Global Learning Center, the Strategic Plan Implementation Steering Committee heard from the co-chairs of 10 different projects, who reported on the progress of the past nine months and offered a set of near- and long-term recommendations for moving beyond talk and into action.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EReports mark the end of a phase in each project\u2019s cycle, but not progress toward its realization. The Strategic Plan Implementation Steering Committee will break for the summer and reconvene in the fall.
