Arthur Herman, author of \u0022Freedom\u0027s Forge,\u0022 is scheduled to deliver the lunch keynote.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EMil-OSS is a grass-roots organization that connects and empowers an active community of both civilian and military developers using, improving, and releasing open source software (OSS) and hardware across the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EMost members of Mil-OSS work with the DoD either directly or as contractors, and see their work in open source DoD projects as support for our country\u2019s Warfighters.
