This was compared with the actual cost of tuition. From this information, \u003Cem\u003ESmartMoney\u003C\/em\u003E created a \u0022Payback Score,\u0022 reflecting an actual return on tuition investment.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAccording to the magazine\u2019s analysis, Georgia Tech graduates from the class of 2009 have a median starting salary of $59,000, representing 67 percent of what they paid in tuition.
