His practice and teaching are centered around Service Design and Design Management \u2013 along with Corporate Identity, User-Centered Design, and Design Leadership.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EVollmer is Senior Vice President of Design and Principal at Info Retail, and has been with the company for the past decade.\u0026nbsp; Firmly believing in the business-driving power of design, he focuses on helping clients create engaging user experiences at all brand touchpoints.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EOriginally from Essen, Germany, Vollmer\u2019s holds a Master\u2019s of Industrial Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His undergraduate studies led him to the K\u00f6ln International School of Design, the Kunsthochschule Berlin Wei\u00dfensee, and the University of Central England - BIAD Birmingham Institute of Art and Design. \u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EVollmer professional work includes a vast variety of projects, ranging from Corporate Identity Systems to Interactive Experiences to the design of Commercial Interior Environments.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EVollmer is a photographer, avid reader, a design philosopher, and speaks frequently to variety of audiences.
