161491 news 1350034278 1475896378 <![CDATA[Homecoming Events Begin This Week]]> The celebration surrounding homecoming is one of Georgia Tech’s longest and heartiest traditions. It begins Wednesday and runs until the Homecoming football game itself against BYU on Saturday, Oct. 27, in Bobby Dodd Stadium. This year’s theme is The Burdell Identity - Mission: Homecoming.

Wednesday, Oct. 17:

Sunday, Oct. 21:

Iron Buzz Tournament: Like an Iron Man Competition, but with more sting.
Powderpuff Cheer and Football: Gender-bending sporting events will have men stunting and ladies running for touchdowns.

Banner Contest: Themed banners will adorn Greek houses across campus.

Library Archives Open House: Visit the Neely Lobby in the Library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to see rare books and other historical materials.
