167281 event 1351763534 1475892059 <![CDATA[Claire Denis at Emory]]> Internationally-acclaimed French filmmaker Claire Denis will be on the Emory campus for two evening presentations on November 14 and 15. Prior to her visit, four of her most critically-acclaimed films will be screened beginning November 2.
All events are free and open to the public.

Film Series leading up to her visit:
Nov. 2 - "Chocolat" (1988)
Nov. 5 - "I Can't Sleep" ("J'ai pas sommeil,"1994, presented on DVD)
Nov. 9 - "Beau Travail" (1999)
Nov. 12 - "35 Shots of Rum" ("35 rhums," 2008)
All films are shown at 7:30 pm in White Hall 205 (Emory Campus)

Nov. 14 - An evening with Claire Denis, an introduction by Ms. Denis to her most recent film "White Material" (2009) followed by a screening.
