  <body><![CDATA[<p><strong>CSE Seminar</strong></p><p><strong>Speaker:</strong>&nbsp;Peter Volkov, Malware Analyst, Yandex, Moscow, Russia</p><p>PIZZA will be provided</p><p>-----------------------------------</p><p><strong>Title:</strong></p><p>Evolution of mass DbD-attacks malware and co-evolution of antimalware technologies</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Abstract:</strong></p><p>Exploitation of web browser environment vulnerabilities is one of the major ways of distrubution of mass malware.</p><p>I will talk about current trends in&nbsp;evolution of&nbsp;drive-by download related malware, juxtaposed with co-evolution in development of modern antimalware technologies to counteract DbD attacks. I'll also talk about specific exploit-kits existing in the black market as well as about the current state of antimalware industry.</p><p>Examples of actual&nbsp;malware codes, vulnerable features of browser environment and internals of antimalware systems will be presented and discussed.</p><p><strong>Bio:</strong></p><p>Peter Volkov is a Malware Analyst at the Yandex company <a href="http://company.yandex.com/">http://company.yandex.com/</a> He graduated from the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, Moscow State University.</p><p>Before joining Yandex Peter worked at Kaspersky's Lab on analysis of malicious codes, applied forensics and training programs for students.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>]]></body>
