The award winners, along with their families, were honored during a formal reception and award ceremony on Sunday afternoon in the Academy of Medicine building near Georgia Tech\u0027s campus. Representatives from Georgia Tech, including faculty, staff, students, corporate sponsors and other community leaders also were in attendance to celebrate the girls\u0027\u0026nbsp; achievements.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003Cbr \/\u003EThe celebration is a part of the efforts of the College\u2019s Office of Outreach, Enrollment and Community (OEC) to encourage the involvement of women in STEM fields and to recognize young achievers. This is the third annual NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing hosted by the College of Computing.
