195831 news 1361977140 1475896424 <![CDATA[Third Sciences Dean Finalist to Visit Tech Mar. 5-6]]> The search committee has identified three candidates as finalists for dean of the College of Sciences. The third is Dr. Carol Fierke, professor and chair of the University of Michigan's Department of Chemistry. 

Dr. Fierke will be a guest of the Institute on March 5-6 to discuss his vision for sciences at Georgia Tech.  A public presentation is planned for Tuesday, March 5, at 11 a.m. in room 236 of the Global Learning Center. Participants are invited to stay for an informal reception with the candidate following the presentation in Conference Room A of the Georgia Tech Hotel.
