Patricia Bazrod has  more than 20 years of experience in the field of cooperative education, holds a  Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona, and attended Law  School in San Diego, CA.

Since 1984, Ms. Bazrod has been a member of the Cooperative Education Division (CED) of the American Society for Engineering Education, where she has served as Chairman, Program Chair, Secretary-Treasurer, Chair-Elect, and on the Executive Board as that national professional organization's Archivist.  Ms. Bazrod has also served as President, General Conference Chair, and Assistant Conference Chair for other professional cooperative education organizations.   She holds memberships in the Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CEIA) and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), and was the recipient of the CED 2005 Borman Award for outstanding service to the field of cooperative education. She has made numerous presentations and conducted workshops on the state, regional and  national levels.

Dr. Quispe-Agnoli has published her research in various journals, including Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, Journal of Regional Science, and Contemporary Economic Policy. Her research has also appeared in several books. She is a member of the American Economic Association, the Southern Economic Association, the Econometric Society, the Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession, Latin American and the Caribbean Economic Association, and the American Society of Hispanic Economists.

Before joining the Atlanta Fed, Dr. Quispe-Agnoli taught at Emory University, Tulane University, the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill, and the Center for International Development Research at the Terry Stanford Institute of Public Policy at Duke University. She has taught graduate and undergraduate courses on Economic Development, International Trade and Finance, and Money, Banking, and Financial Institutions. A native of Lima, Peru, Dr. Quispe-Agnoli earned a bachelor's degree in social sciences at Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. She earned her master's degree in economics from Vanderbilt University and her doctorate in economics from the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill.

She has published her work in journals such as Hypatia: A Journal of Feminist Philosophy; American Journal of Bioethics; Neuroethics; Australian Feminist Studies; Rhizomes: Cultural Studies of Emerging Knowledge; Endocrinology; Neuroendocrinology; and the Journal of Biological Chemistry.  She has contributed chapters to the anthologies Handbook for Feminist Research: Theory and Praxis (2011) and Neurofeminism: Issues at the Intersection of Feminist Theory and Cognitive Science (2012).  Roy was a faculty research fellow at the Clayman Institute for Gender Research at Stanford University from September 2008 – June 2009.  While at the institute, she developed a project in feminist neuroethics and is currently working on a manuscript entitled “Mapping Gender, Hormones, and Neurons: Feminist Configurations in the Neurosciences.”  In 2010, she received a grant from the National Academies Keck Futures Initiative (NAKFI) for her project entitled “Developing a Benchside Ethics and Community-Based Participatory Research Training Program in Synthetic Biology.”  This interdisciplinary training program brought together graduate students in biology, bioengineering, philosophy and women’s studies to discuss the ethical and social implications of synthetic biology research.
