  <title><![CDATA[Georgia Tech to Make Presence Felt at APA Conference in Chicago]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>From April 13-17, the City of Chicago will host the 2013 American Planning Association’s (APA) <a href="http://www.planning.org/conference/">National Conference</a>, an annual meeting of planning professionals, academics, and students from across the country. The conference provides a mix of professional development programs and networking opportunities in addition to a closing day “UnConference” which allows attendees to engage in spirited discussions about the connections between planning practice and technology in a free-form setting.</p><p>The School of City and Regional Planning will have yet another strong&nbsp;showing at the annual conference with over 20 current students attending, along with a several faculty members and numerous alumni. Below is a list of SCaRP-related presentations (to be updated as more information becomes available):</p><ol><li>Amy Ingles, Poster: Monday,&nbsp;12 – 2pm. <em>Utilizing Health Impact Assessment (HIA) as a Tool for Incorporating Health Metrics into Performance Management</em></li><li>Anna Harkness, Poster: Monday,&nbsp;12 – 2pm. <em>Engaging Vulnerable Populations in Health Impact Assessment</em></li><li>James Wong, Aaron Gooze, Landon Reed, Poster: Monday, 12– 2pm. <em>Transit Data Analysis</em></li><li>Margaret Carragher, Poster: Monday,&nbsp;12 – 2pm. <em>Innovations in Multi-Modal, Schematic, Transit Mapping</em></li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p>]]></body>
