He will embark from the United States on a year-long research initiative at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenberg, Sweden to investigate novel strategies for biomaterial production.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThis event will be in partnership with Professors H. Theliander (Chalmers) and A. Ragauskas (Georgia Tech). For this initiative, they will investigate the the utilization of inexpensive and abundant plant-derived biopolymers as precursors for carbon fiber development.
