In this role, Das will provide advice to the Executive Director of GTMI on strategies for manufacturing innovations. \u003Cbr \/\u003E \u003Cbr \/\u003E \u201cAs a thought leader and renowned researcher in additive manufacturing, Dr. Das\u2019s tremendous knowledge of advanced manufacturing and innovative materials will bring unique value to GTMI and the broader manufacturing community of Georgia Tech,\u201d said Dr. Wang. \u003Cbr \/\u003E \u003Cbr \/\u003E Dr. Das currently serves as the Morris M. Bryan Jr. Chair in Mechanical Engineering for Advanced Manufacturing Systems in the George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering. He holds a joint appointment in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and he is director of Georgia Tech\u2019s Direct Digital Manufacturing Laboratory and Research Group.
