  <title><![CDATA[Farooq Publishes Three Articles]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Assistant Professor Nihad Farooq was the William S. Vaughn Visiting Faculty Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University for 2012-13 and participated in a year-long Sawyer Seminar&nbsp;composed of Vanderbilt Faculty and guest speakers from other institutions entitled "The Age of Emancipation: Black Freedom in the Atlantic World."
