  <title><![CDATA[Application deadline for National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Science Teacher Scholarship]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>The Impacting Metro Atlanta Science Teaching (I-MAST) program is a collaborative effort between Georgia State University and Georgia Institute of Technology. &nbsp;IMAST recruits talented STEM subject majors for careers in middle and high school education and offers two distinct entry points.&nbsp; Entry point #1: Receive up to $18,000 of funding for one’s senior year of a B.S. program and another year of funding while obtaining a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) in Science plus Georgia teacher certification for a possible total of $36,000. &nbsp;Entry point #2: Apply only for the graduate school portion of the scholarship for up to $18,000 total. &nbsp; Noyce Scholars must teach two years in a U.S. high need school district for each year of funding. Scholars may also receive funding for professional development and for attendance at professional conferences.
