ECE Maintains Rankings in 2014 U.S. News Best Colleges Issue

The U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Issue, which includes undergraduate engineering program rankings, has been published, and the results for the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Georgia Tech are very good.

Electrical engineering placed fifth and computer engineering ranked sixth, the same positions as last year, and both disciplines ranked third in their fields among public universities. The College of Engineering ranked fifth, and Georgia Tech retained its seventh place standing among public universities. Three other Georgia Tech initiatives – internships, senior capstone design, and undergraduate research – are also cited in U.S. News' "Academic Programs to Look For" section.

“Our success in ECE can be attributed to our innovative and internationally renowned academic and research programs, but none of these things would be possible without the hard work and commitment of our faculty, staff, and students,” said Steven W. McLaughlin, the Steve W. Chaddick School Chair of ECE. “I’d like to thank our entire community for their efforts, and I look forward to building on our long track record of continued excellence.”
