The Nanomedicine Research Institute - Magnetic Resonance Laboratory (NMRI-MR) will hold a shortcourse for scientists and engineers at Georgia Tech at the Parker H. Petit Institute for Bioengineering & Bioscience.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is best known for its application as a radiological technique in medicine.  However, the technique has also found interesting applications in science and engineering.  This short course will put special emphasis on experimental procedures associated with MRI.  It is intended for those who would like to get started using MRI in their research.  Due to the wide variety of topics it will also be a forum for experience MRI researchers who would like to learn about new experimental techniques. 

Participation from academia, industry and the medical field are equally welcome.
