242801 news 1380893601 1475896505 <![CDATA[Congratulations Elizabeth!]]> Elizabeth McMillan, working in the Kubanek Lab, was awarded the top presentation award at the Undergraduate Research Kaleidoscope event this week.  Elizabeth studies chemically mediated competition specific to the red tide, Karenia brevis.  Her presentation focused on examining the variation in the response of algal competitors from two different marine communities to chemicals released by K. brevis.
