They work deliberately to perfect new techniques that will improve their teaching.

Embrace challenges. They meet the daily challenges of teaching in a high-need school with determination and optimism.

Share their passions. They use their deep subject knowledge to ignite student interest, inspiring achievement and a real love of learning.

Georgia Teaching Fellows is currently seeking candidates with the skills and content expertise required to teach the following critical-need subjects:

Elementary Education

Mathematics – Middle and High School

Middle School Education (Augusta Only)

Science – Middle and High School

Social Studies – Middle School (Atlanta only)

Special Education – All grades

All teachers support students with learning disabilities, but as a special educator, you’ll get specialized training to ensure that these students get the excellent education they deserve. Fellows who are certified to teach special education are typically among our earliest Fellows to get hired because it is such a critical shortage area.

Apply now to join the ranks of this elite group of educators.

Application deadlines are:

November 11, 2013

December 16, 2013

January 20, 2014

February 24, 2014

Eligibility Requirements

Georgia Teaching Fellows is part of TNTP’s (The New Teacher Project) national network of Teaching Fellows programs.
