  <title><![CDATA[OIE Photo Contest Finalists & Facebook Voting]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Thanks to all the students who submitted photos to the 2013 OIE Photo/Video Contest.There were so many wonderful submissions that it was difficult for our voters to narrow them down to just 20 finalists, but OIE is happy to report that the finalists for the photo portion of the contest have been chosen and will now be voted on by a panel of GT Faculty and Staff to determine the winners. They are:<br /><br /></p><p><em>Ann Suh -&nbsp;Red Rooftops of Praha</em></p><p><em>Belinda Jivpong - Habibi&nbsp;</em></p><p><em>Lori Vaughn - Bird's EYE View</em></p><p><em>Matias Leguizamon - Pudong District, Shanghai</em></p><p><em>Chao Wu - Spring in Fall</em></p><p><em>Nicole Davis - A Piper's Stroll</em></p><p><em>Daniel Wise - Sunrise on the Sun Voyager&nbsp;</em></p><p><em>Rishal Patel- Castel Sant'Angelo</em></p><p><em>Grace Ann Murphy - Giraffe Lovin' on a Wintry Day</em></p><p><em>Sayan Ghosh- Beyond the Horizon&nbsp;</em></p><p><em>Isaac Wittenstein - Cotopaxi, the Neck of the Moon</em></p><p><em>Tanay Rajore - Magical Bruges</em></p><p><em>Jacoby Daniels - Feria en Granada</em></p><p><em>Yangyang Li - The Floating River Lantern</em></p><p><em>John Gillespy - Hyperangelic&nbsp;</em></p><p><em>Yitao Lu - The Horseshoe Bend</em></p><p><em>Kush Patel - Welcome to the Great Wall</em></p><p><em>Yvonne Ploder - Capturing Cappadocia through Capitalism</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>If your photo is not among the finalists, you still have a chance to prove our voters wrong by becoming the FACEBOOK FAVORITE.</strong><br />All&nbsp;submissions to the contest will be posted to our<a href="http://www.facebook.com/GTStudyAbroad" target="_blank">&nbsp;Facebook&nbsp;</a>page where your friends and family can vote for them.&nbsp;<br />The photo with the most likes by&nbsp;November 6th&nbsp;will be awarded the Facebook Favorite prize at the Photo Contest Reception on&nbsp;November 12th, 2-4pm at the CULC gallery (see&nbsp;<a href="http://www.oie.gatech.edu/iew" target="_blank">www.oie.gatech.edu/iew</a>&nbsp;for more info).&nbsp;<br /><br />So, congratulations to the finalists.
