249921 event 1383151335 1475892330 <![CDATA[Concert: Sonic Generator and the Orchestre National de Lorraine]]> Under the direction of ONL’s music director Jacques Mercier, this transatlantic collaboration will present innovative French and American contemporary music, featuring Steve Reich’s City Life, a seminal work that uses digital samplers to bring the sounds of New York City into the concert hall. 

Following this Atlanta concert, presented by Georgia Tech* as part of France-Atlanta 2013, Sonic Generator and ONL will give a reciprocal concert at the Arsenal de Metz in France in February 2014.

]]> Soloists from the Orchestre National de Lorraine (ONL) from Metz, France along with Sonic Generator, the comtemporary music ensemble-in-residence at Georgia Tech, will join forces for a comtemporary music concert in Atlanta under the direction of ONL's music director Jacques Mercier and reciprocal concert in Metz, France in February 2014.
