To enroll in the voluntary health insurance policy, go to www.studentbluega.com, click voluntary and then click enroll and fill out the information. Students do have the option to add spouse and/or child(ren) to the Georgia Tech Student Health Insurance plan.

This plan offers the peace of mind that comes with the BCBSGA brand and worldwide provider network. The plan provides significant benefit enhancements at an extremely affordable cost.

The student health insurance plan includes, but is not limited to, the following benefit enhancements:

• Unlimited lifetime maximum
• Unlimited pharmacy maximum
• Preventive care fully covered, as per healthcare reform requirements (not covered last year)
• $10-copay routine eye exam (not covered last year)

Parents may find that Student Blue provides a better value than the current coverage they have for their student. The Atlanta area is in-network for the Student Blue plan but may be considered out-of-network for some current plans. People should talk to their current insurer and weigh the pros and cons carefully when deciding which insurance coverage to purchase.
