  <title><![CDATA[Student View: Art by Writing and Communication Students Displayed at the Woodruff Art Center]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>On Thursday, February 6, 2014, art work by Georgia Tech undergraduates in English 1102 was showcased at the Woodruff Art Center in <em>Student View</em>, an annual juried exhibition that epitomizes the provocative synergy of form and content.&nbsp; Seven pieces were displayed:</p><ul><li>“Daydream” (watercolor painting). Artist: Abhinav Uppal. <em>Instructor</em>: Dr. Jennifer Lux.</li><li>“Directional Madness” (collage). Artist: Stephen Wang. <em>Instructor</em>: Dr. Caitlyn Kelly.</li><li>“Ford Ad Switcheroo” (ad remix). Artists: Maya Goldman, Naveena Karusala, Megan Preston, and Paloma Zavala. <em>Instructor</em>: Dr. John Harkey.</li><li>“Hamlet Inside and Out” (charcoal drawing). Artist: Maya Tome. <em>Instructor</em>: Dr. Caitlyn Kelly.</li><li>“The Hobbit: Eye of Smaug” (poster). Artists: Sukara Abe, Conner Chadwick, Zach Dawson, and Ankita Gupta. <em>Instructor</em>: Dr. Leah Haught.</li><li>“Vanishing of the Bees” (movie poster). Artists: Zujia Huang, Chelsea Silbergleid, and Reagan Weigel. <em>Instructor</em>: Dr. Clint Stivers.</li><li>“Yellowbird” (poster). Artists: Srinidhi Chaganty, Jackie Foreman, Shaswat Jhunjhunwala, Jacob Kim, and Erica Pramer. <em>Instructor</em>: Dr. Jennifer Lux.</li></ul><p>Later this spring, an extended version of <em>Student View</em> will be displayed at the Ferst Gallery. Selected pieces from <em>Student View</em> will be added to the Writing and Communication Program’s permanent student collection displayed on a rotating basis in the Stephen C. Hall Building.</p>]]></body>
