This talk examines some of these major turning points and argues that understanding microbes is essential to understanding history.</p><p>Dr. John L. Tone specializes in Spanish and Cuban military history and the history of medicine. He has written several articles and award winning books. His research is on the history of yellow fever.</p>]]></value>
