  <title><![CDATA[SoTL journal club - Alternate Assessment]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[Can different exam formats lead to better student comprehension and grades? &nbsp;How can I better design multiple choice exams to more deeply test students' understanding? &nbsp;Does exam timing have a significant impact on student performance?&nbsp;<p>In the second meeting of the Spring 2014 semester of the SoTL Journal Club, we will discuss alternate assessment strategies. &nbsp;Please read the following for discussion:</p><p>Myers, Carrie B., and Scott M.
