293901 news 1398775870 1475896578 <![CDATA[ISyE Senior Design Team Finalists Announced at the Georgia Tech Capstone Expo]]> ISyE Senior Design participated in the Georgia Tech Capstone Design Expo held April 24 at McCamish Pavilion. Out of the 170 participating teams from across campus, 24 were from ISyE. At the end of the Expo, three ISyE finalists were announced: Heidelberg Spare Parts, Manheim SureSell, and United Nations World Food Program. These teams will move on to present their project at the ISyE Senior Design Finalist presentation on Wednesday April 30 at 6:30pm in Klaus 1443. Also announced was The People's Choice Award which went to ISyE's UPS Senior Design Team with students Jason Bello, Asia Ellington , Norman Gyamfi, Jing Qin, and Shanyu Lin.

The finalists:
Team members from ISyE's Heidelberg Spare Parts Senior Design Team include Gian Di Carlo, Benedict Herbst, Christoph Koehler, Lior Koren, Andrea Pava, Mark Vaisberg, and Daniel Zuleta. Their faculty advisor is Doug Bodner.

Team members from ISyE's Manheim SureSell Senior Design Team include Hannah Berkhan, Layla Bouzoubaa, Alicia Hess, Claudia Lara, Maryann Remy, and Alexandra Underwood. Their faculty advisor is Sebastian Pokutta.

Team members from ISyE's United Nations World Food Program Senior Design Team include Maria Ayers, Laxmi Gadepalli, Ashfaque (Ash) Kachwala, Tahsin Munir, Cane Punma, Gabriel Rodriguez, and Yuvraj (Yuvi) Singh. Their faculty advisor is Ozlem Ergun.
