In parallel with the “global workshop” and the impact of the “made in China”, the internationalization of Chinese companies has become another engine of economic growth. 

Until now, there are only a few publications focusing on the expansion and activities of Chinese firms abroad. With the China Goes Global (TM), initiative, Jacobs University, Rollins College, Harvard University and Georgia Tech (CIBER) conduct a collaborative research program to analyze the structure and the inherent problems of this topic, and to give answers to these questions from a variety of stakeholder perspectives – corporate, governmental and non-governmental decision makers as well as researchers.

This years conference will be held in Shanghai, China on August 19 - 21, 2014.
