In this seminar we will focus on Nano-Enabled Drug Delivery (NEDD), considering key emerging topics over time.\u0026nbsp; We will then focus on NEDD being used to treat cancers.\u0026nbsp; We key on 3 dimensions:\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EWhich nano components are being researched?\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ETo facilitate delivery of which agents (drugs)?\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ETo treat which cancers?\u003C\/li\u003E\u003C\/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003EA key aim is to identify R\u0026amp;D opportunities that have not been well-explored yet.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003EBio:\u003C\/strong\u003E Alan Porter is Professor Emeritus of Industrial \u0026amp; Systems Engineering, and of Public Policy, at Georgia Tech, where he remains Co-director of the Technology Policy and Assessment Center.\u0026nbsp; He is also Director of R\u0026amp;D for Search Technology, Inc. (Norcross, GA).\u0026nbsp; He is author of some 230 articles and books, including \u003Cem\u003ETech Mining\u003C\/em\u003E (Wiley, 2005) and \u003Cem\u003EForecasting and Management of Technology\u003C\/em\u003E (Wiley, 2011).\u0026nbsp; Current research emphasizes \u201cforecasting innovation pathways\u201d for selected nanotechnologies.\u0026nbsp; This entails text mining of science, technology \u0026amp; innovation information resources.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EJing Ma is completing her PhD at Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), and has been a visiting scholar at Georgia Tech for 2013-2014. Her research interest is technology innovation management and tech mining.
