The boat must hold two crew members while it makes its way across the Campus Recreation Center Pool.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAny thickness of corrugated cardboard is permitted. But waxed cardboard, carpet tubes and barrels are not allowed. \u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EStyrofoam or any other flotation-type foam is a major \u0022no-no.\u0022 Violators will be branded \u0022Barnacles\u0022 and stripped of any trophies.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003C\/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAwards are under development now, but categories might include: \u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EAdmiral\u0027s Pride, Fastest Finish \u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EGear Head Award, Best science or physics involved in designing the boat, floatability and movement in water, and\/or innovative \u0026amp; unique design\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ETitanic Award, Most Spectacular Sink!\u003C\/li\u003E\u003C\/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003ECrew costumes are not required, but encouraged.
