  <title><![CDATA[Georgia Tech Rankings Remain Strong]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>The Georgia Institute of Technology continued its longstanding record for high marks in the 2015 Best Colleges undergraduate rankings by U.S. News and World Report. Georgia Tech ranked seventh among public universities and 35th among all national universities.</p><p>“This is the 16th consecutive year that Georgia Tech has ranked among the top ten public universities,” said Georgia Tech President G.P. “Bud” Peterson. “Georgia Tech continues to be recognized nationally for the faculty’s commitment to excellence in preparing our students to meet the challenges that face our society through innovation, research, and collaboration.”</p><p>Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering moved up to a fourth place ranking (rising from fifth&nbsp;place in 2014) for undergraduate engineering programs at institutions that award doctoral degrees.
