328571 event 1411594460 1475892568 <![CDATA[Conference: Children: Food and Environment]]> This conference centers on the interactions between food and environmental factors and how they may affect children's health and development.  There will be presentations on research for both micro level factors (e.g. nutrient mediated microbiome effects) and macro level factors (e.g. food production systems, food deserts), as well as discussions on policy and future research implications.

The conference will take place February 4-6, 2015 in Austin, Texas.  Early bird registration rates are good until November 17, 2014, and conference abstract submissions are due October 17, 2014.
