Rebuilding cities in decline provides an opportunity to re-imagine the built environment and increase the role of health promotion and protection. Workshop panelists will describe efforts to ensure the health of children and minorities, increase the role of public health departments and health systems, increase a sense of community, and utilize green technologies to increase livability and sustainability. This event will be held in Washington, DC, and is free and open to the public.
