The current lack of guidance in this area can be a barrier to more agencies effectively prioritizing and implementing pedestrian and bicycle projects. To address this deficit, the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) established Project 07-17 to develop a model methodology transportation agencies can use to evaluate and prioritize pedestrian and bicycle improvements on existing roadways. The result of this research is the ActiveTrans Priority Tool.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EThis webinar will provide an overview of the ActiveTrans Priority Tool (APT), which is intended to help practitioners in local, regional, and state agencies establish a step-by-step prioritization process that is flexible, transparent, and incorporates agency\/community values.
