{"350221":{"#nid":"350221","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Stopping Hunger $1 at a Time","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cem\u003EGrant Grimes, Sustainability Coordinator, Georgia Tech Dining Services\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAs part of our commitment to serving our community, Georgia Tech Dining Services again partnered with Stop Hunger for our annual Stop Hunger Donation Drive.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAt Georgia Tech, we decided to take a different approach to a food drive, and instead opted to take monetary donations, starting at $1 at every Georgia Tech Dining register. All donations received between October 15 and November 15 were donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank for the holiday season.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EIn 2013, the Georgia Tech community came together to donate $2,726 to fight hunger, and this year, we raised $3,590 for the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
