We believe that access to great math and science teaching is an issue of social justice, and we seek candidates who share our passion for equity and excellence.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ESimilar to a medical residency, teacher residents develop their skills directly in a school setting. Residents teach four days per week with veteran mentor teachers, called Clinical Instructors. To build relationships with peers, residents will work alongside one another at school sites.\u0026nbsp; In addition, all residency schools serve as learning labs, where current and resident teachers learn from one another through observation and reflection.\u0026nbsp; Finally, residents spend one day per week in specially designed courses from Tennessee Technological University.
