What is the nature of the challenges facing Atlanta? Are city life and public decision making still governed by the Atlanta Way, or will the future bring a new system of governance and civic engagement?\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p2\u0022\u003EThe third annual Atlanta Studies Symposium is hosted by the Georgia Tech School of City and Regional Planning with sponsorship by Georgia State University\u2019s Council for the Progress of Cities, Emory University\u2019s Center for Digital Scholarship,\u0026nbsp;Georgia\u0026nbsp;Tech\u2019s College of Architecture, School of Architecture, School of Building Construction, School of City and Regional Planning, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering,\u0026nbsp;School of History, Technology and Society, and School of Public Policy, and\u0026nbsp;the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp class=\u0022p1\u0022\u003EThe symposium will be held at the Historic Academy of Medicine, located at the corner of7th\u0026nbsp;Street and West Peachtree in midtown Atlanta on May\u0026nbsp;6th, 2015. The Academy is a five minute walk from the Midtown\u0026nbsp;MARTA station. The symposium\u0026nbsp;will begin at 8:00am.
