The summer internship program is open to current students of ASPPH-member CEPH-accredited graduate schools and programs of public health. The internship will provide a unique experience where the selected student can apply their skills and knowledge learned in the classroom to public health projects of importance to ASPPH and our members. The deadline to apply\u0026nbsp;is Thursday, March 5.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EASPPH will accept up to three summer interns to participate in projects at ASPPH headquarters in Washington, DC. The internship assignments will focus on data analytics, evaluation, and education.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003E\u201cAfter learning in an academic environment during my first year of graduate school, I appreciated the opportunity to apply analytical skills in public health,\u201d said Ms. Jennifer Tighe, a former ASPPH Headquarters summer intern. \u201cSurrounded by public health professionals, I also learned from the practical aspect of working as an intern at ASPPH.\u201d\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003ECandidates must be current students (expected to graduate in Winter 2015, Spring 2015, or Spring 2016) of\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.aspph.org\/member-directory\/\u0022\u003EASPPH member CEPH-accredited schools and programs of public health\u003C\/a\u003E. In addition to specific skills required for individual internships, candidates must have strong organizational, writing, and communication skills. They must also be U.S. citizens, or hold a visa for permanent residence (i.e. \u201cGreen Card\u201d).
