The guest speakers were Robbie Ouzts, Graduate Career Advisor, and Meg Popick, International Student Advisor. Around 50 students participated in the event. The students were provided a short demonstration on the intercultural aspects of resume writing and how the cultural values inherent to the U.S and China impact the format and content of a resume. This was followed by an explanation of career development and tips on writing a resume. Finally, students had the opportunity to provide their peers feedback on sample resumes they brought to the session.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EChinese Friendship Association has planned a second event for Chinese students which will take place on Tuesday, January 20\u003Csup\u003Eth\u003C\/sup\u003E from 7:15pm to 9pm in the Student Success Center Clary Theater. This session will focus on obtaining a COOP or internship in the U.S. and the proper work authorization for positions.
