They were:\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EPush Pull - This instrument looks like an\u0026nbsp;accordion but it\u0026nbsp;combines inertial sensor data with sound input and digital synthesis.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ENomis - This\u0026nbsp;instrument\u0026nbsp;aims to make\u0026nbsp;loop based music more expressive and transparent through gesture and light.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EMagentic Percussion Tower - This\u0026nbsp;instrument combines aspects of kinetic sculpture, music\u0026nbsp;box design, drum machine and interactive art.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDulsitar - This instrument incorporates traits and design found in both the sitar and\u0026nbsp;dulcimer.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ECantor Digitalis - This instrument is an open-source real-time singing synthesizer\u0026nbsp;using hand gestures, with the help of an accurate and intuitive interface based on a pen\/touch tablet.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ED-Box - This new digital instrument is encased in a wooden cube and is designed to be repurposed and rewired by performs. This hacking lets a performer play it in unusual ways.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EDualo Do-Touch - This\u0026nbsp;instrument is a\u0026nbsp;controller, synthesizer and a looper\/sequencer that is based on a new layout of notes.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003ENdial - This instrument combines\u0026nbsp;automated sampling and sequencing with manual controls to navigate sound worlds in unpredictable ways.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003EThe Sponge - This instrument is a\u0026nbsp;a piece of foam equipped with sensors which can detect when it is squeezed, twisted or shaken.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003C\/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003EFrom the nine, there were first, second and third place winners selected, a People\u0027s Choice award for Best Performance and Best Instrument and Most Unusual Instrument.
