383671 news 1425386287 1475895771 <![CDATA[Volunteer for the Georgia Tech Publix Georgia Marathon Hydration Station]]> The 2015 Publix Georgia Marathon and Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015. The Go T.E.C.H (Teams Encouraging Campus Health) Coalition will once again take part in the event by coordinating the hydration station on Tech Parkway, and all students, faculty, and staff are invited to volunteer. 

The Georgia Tech Hydration Station is the last leg of the race and will be located on our campus. Volunteers are needed to work the Hydration Station, which will be in operation from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers will be asked to work a minimum three-hour shift. Volunteers are needed for setup, cheering and encouraging athletes, water distribution, and break-down/cleanup. All registered volunteers will be e-mailed and asked for their preferred shifts. 

Volunteers will receive a commemorate T-shirt and goodie bag. Friends and family are also welcome to register to join. The deadline to register is Monday, March 9.
