Both Davenport and Wang are assistant professors in the Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE).\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding educators from among the untenured junior faculty from the Georgia Tech Schools of Aerospace Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and the College of Computing.\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EAward recipients are selected for extraordinary effectiveness in classroom teaching, educational innovations, inspiration transmitted to students, direct impact and involvement with students, and impact on the postgraduate success of students.
