We will discuss what synthetic biology is, what good it can do, the potential dangers of this technology, public perceptions about the field, and other topics relevant to synthetic biology's potential role in society.

This panel is offered in collaboration with the Atlanta Science Festival and is organized by the Lambert High School iGEM team.
