  <title><![CDATA[Brittain Fellow Browning Named Associate Editor of Palgrave Communications]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>John Edgar Browning received his PhD in 2015 in American Studies from SUNY Buffalo. Because his research focuses on film and media studies, popular culture, digital humanities, ethnography, cultural studies, Victorian and fin de siècle literature, Gothic and horror studies, and deviance , he is an ideal person to undertake the job as associate editor of a multi-disciplinary scholarly journal.</p><p>Palgrave describes <em>Palgrave Communications</em> as "an open access online-only journal dedicated to publishing high quality original research across all areas of the humanities, the social sciences&nbsp;and&nbsp;business" and adds that it "also champions interdisciplinary research, fostering interaction, creativity and&nbsp;reflection within and&nbsp;between the rich disciplines the journal&nbsp;encompasses."</p><p>To read more about the editorial board, go to&nbsp; <a href="http://www.palgrave-journals.com/palcomms/about/editorial-board" target="_blank">http://www.palgrave-journals.com/palcomms/about/editorial-board</a></p>]]></body>
