The Institute has invested in an Ethics and Compliance Video Library. These short and engaging video clips are designed to reinforce ethical behavior. The Compliance Partners Group fosters partnerships among campus departments involved in ensuring policy, regulatory, and legal compliance. It works to promote effective compliance work, provide communications, and highlight compliance resource needs. The Compliance Partners Group leverages resources and expertise, as well as helps to focus attention on compliance areas that significantly impact Georgia Tech. Beginning January 11, you can access the new portal by going to gtcrossroads.gatech.edu. GTCrossroads will also be embedded in WebWISE and available through TechWorks.
Open demo/classroom sessions are being conducted to introduce the new features of the system. You do not need to register for these sessions. The open demo/classroom format allows you to stop by at any point during the session to ask questions and learn about the system.
Visit "My Compliance Campaigns" on TechWorks (techworks.gatech.edu) to learn more about these requirements and submit the required information. Employees do not have to complete all four compliance requirements in one sitting; they can be completed in multiple sittings. It should take less than two hours to complete all of the training and compliance requirements.
Understanding your responsibilities as a public employee and as a member of the Georgia Tech community is important for maintaining ethical standards across the Institute. It also helps ensure the Institute remains compliant with federal and state laws.
Employees who do not comply by April 8, 2016, may receive a formal disciplinary notice from the Institute, and their access to Georgia Tech’s network may also be revoked.
