{"398231":{"#nid":"398231","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Enhancements to Research Administration Tools","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EOn January 11, 2016, \u003Cstrong\u003EGTCROSSROADS\u003C\/strong\u003E will be launched, providing better access to research and administration tools. \u0026nbsp;GTCrossroads is\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;an updated version of WebWISE and the OSP Contract Information System \u2013 plus more research administration systems.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cul\u003E\u003Cli\u003EMy Research Portal, which is being integrated into GTCrossroads and re-branded as \u003Cstrong\u003EMy\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003E Pages\u003C\/strong\u003E, provides\u0026nbsp;a quick customizable look into the \u003Cem\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003Edata\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/em\u003E needed to support research administration activities. \u0026nbsp;\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EMy Tasks\u003C\/strong\u003E offers a comprehensive and quick view of all tasks that are awaiting your \u003Cstrong\u003E\u003Cem\u003Eaction\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/strong\u003E in the research administration domain (My Actions). \u0026nbsp;It will also display items you have asked to be done (My Requests). \u0026nbsp;This information is pulled from various systems and links are provided for convenient and direct access to the relevant sites.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EApps\u003C\/strong\u003E connects you to the \u003Cstrong\u003E\u003Cem\u003Etools and systems\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/strong\u003E that help you perform your research administration tasks. \u0026nbsp;The icon-based design will only show you the tools and systems that are applicable to you. \u0026nbsp;WebWISE will be available as an app.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EServices\u003C\/strong\u003E links you to key services which support research administration activities. \u0026nbsp;You can see all of the systems that are available to you by way of a \u003Cem\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003Eservice catalog\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/em\u003E (I want to do \u0022x\u0022.) \u0026nbsp;This is especially useful when you are not sure which app is needed to achieve your objectives. \u0026nbsp;\u003C\/li\u003E\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EReports\u003C\/strong\u003E provides easy access to reports pulled from across campus to aid you in effective research administration.\u003C\/li\u003E\u003C\/ul\u003E\u003Cp\u003EBeginning January 11, you can access the new portal by going to\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022\/\/gtcrossroads.gatech.edu\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003Egtcrossroads.gatech.edu\u003C\/a\u003E. \u0026nbsp;
